WTF (First Day of Fall... in August)

This Saturday, I unexpectedly experienced my first-day-of-fall moment... ... ... It was August 12th. Come on, Mother Nature. What's the hurry. Got a dinner party you're late for? Maybe you need to send a email to Mr. Gore so he can appologize on his blog for all his Global Warning rants. They are obviously way off.

Regardless, it was after eating pizza with the family. We walked outside around dusk. Sun was setting. Pink & Yellow sky. Wind blowing a little harder than usual. A little colder than usual. I turned to the misses, told her what was up, then whined a little about it. Ok... I whined a lot about it. Ok... I'm obviously still whining about it.

Here's the thing. I originally thought my internal clock was a little off with getting so old and all, but it was right on. The days of 90+ seem to be gone. It's been mid 70's all week and there's no let-up in sight. Football is on the tubes. Baseball is gearing up for September. Fall is here, baby. Fall is here.
