Sometimes ya just know that ya know... ya know?
A while back I was twiddling around on my email and found past meetings I had set-up with a gal named Sarah Spillman. It was fun to reminisce, and a little shocking.
Of specific shock was the realization that Sarah & I had not only decided to get married after 5 months of knowing each other, and a little more of 3 months of dating... but that we were actually acting on it.
For those keeping track, we were both desperately interested in each other by the time of Trish's Halloween party, but didn't discuss dating until Sarah asked me for help hanging Christmas lights at her apartment the week before Thanksgiving.
That got Sarah & I talking. What were our parents thinking? How could they let us do this? Why were they so darn supportive? What would we say if one of our kids told us that they were going to get hitched to someone they've only known for 3 & 1/2 months...
I guess we'd say, "Sometimes you just know that you know."
Happy Anniversary, Sarah. Thanks for 9 wonderful years, and three beautiful children.

UPDATE: While looking for a wedding picture to add to this post to make it even more sappy, I found the following picture of Sarah's wedding ring. I checked the stats of the image to see when we had picked these out. Hold on to your hats... 2.6.1999.
That means Sarah successfully robbed the cradle within 4 months of meeting me, and less than 2 months and 2 weeks of duping me with hopes of yuletime decorating festivities.
UPDATE #2: I... can't... resist...
AT THE WEDDING...
