I'll take 999,958,085,632 bytes please...
Filed under the seemingly absurd catagory... our home PC now sports a 1 terabyte drive. Pushing this from the absurd to the sublime, the drive cost just over $100.
I know this blog will seem trite and cute a few years from now... and our children will mock this entry with the same tenacity they'll use when riduculing their parents for ever wearing boot-cut jeans with large heeled shoes (likely as they are wearing some sort of flexible aluminum alloy jumpsuit).
I was so much in denial, I checked the drive properties as soon as I had it attached. Sure enough, 999,957,987,328 bytes are at our disposal. Now how to fill it up?
